Halloween - or Samhuinn - has been celebrated in Scotland for a long time. And with a country as wild, beautiful and ancient as this to live in, you might understand why we're more than a little bit superstitious in the Highlands. You never know what might be hiding in the forests and mountains...
This skein is inspired by firelight, and the way that it dances in the dark when the sun disappears. It's dominated by warm oranges and reds, with flashes of yellow, as well as shadows of black and purple.

Stewart Yarns are all dyed by hand. This gives each skein a unique finish, which means your skein might not look exactly like the one in the picture. However, all the skeins in this colourway are made in the same way, in the same style.
Acid dye has been used to create this colourway. While every measure has been taken (lots and lots of washing!) your yarn may bleed a little for the first couple of washes.
While this yarn can go in your washing machine in cold water on a gentle cycle, I would recommend washing by hand and drying flat. I would also recommend using a wool wash detergent.
If you have any questions about this yarn, please get in touch with me. I'm happy to help!
