This colourway is inspired by An Teallach - a mountain on the west coast of Scotland, where I grew up. The navy is powerful and punchy, with speckles of black on white like the glimpses of the mountain you can see through heavy snowfall.

  • 4-ply/Sock weight
  • 100g/400m
  • 2.5-4mm needles recommended
  • Available in Marshmallow (100% Superwash Merino), Pitter Patter (85% Superwash Merino/15% Nylon), BFL (100% SW Blue-Faced Leicester) and Magpie (75% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon and 5% Lurex)

Stewart Yarns are all dyed by hand. This gives each skein a unique finish, which means your skein might not look exactly like the one in the picture. However, all the skeins in this colourway are made in the same way, in the same style.

Acid dye has been used to create this colourway. While every measure has been taken (lots and lots of washing!) your yarn may bleed a little for the first couple of washes.

While this yarn can go in your washing machine in cold water on a gentle cycle, I would recommend washing by hand and drying flat. I would also recommend using a wool wash detergent.

If you have any questions about this yarn, please get in touch with me. I'm happy to help!
