Granda's Collection - Fingering/Sock Weight
This is my Granda's Collection - a trio of colourways that have been inspired by my late Granda. He was an amazing man, and although this tribute to him will never be enough, it's felt perfect putting this little collection together in his memory.
In this collection, there are three skeins:
Bodach = rich, variegated green with notes of teal
You'll Take A Dram = bright and vibrant gold, with subtle speckles
It Might Come In Handy = variegated brown, with a purple undertone
- 4-ply/Sock weight
- 100g/400m x3
- 2.5-4mm needles recommended
- Available in BFL (100% SW Blue Faced Leicester Wool)
Stewart Yarns are all dyed by hand. This gives each skein a unique finish, which means your skein might not look exactly like the one in the picture. However, all the skeins in this colourway are made in the same way, in the same style.
Acid dye has been used to create this colourway. While every measure has been taken (lots and lots of washing!) your yarn may bleed a little for the first couple of washes.
While this yarn can go in your washing machine in cold water on a gentle cycle, I would recommend washing by hand and drying flat. I would also recommend using a wool wash detergent.
If you have any questions about this yarn, please get in touch with me. I'm happy to help!
